Business Analyst
 

Type: Contract position for initial 12 month period with 1x 12  month extension option. 

Clearance: NV1

Location: Preferred location is Canberra, ACT however other office locations in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane would be considered.

Our client is seeking a skilled and diverse technical Business Analyst with proven experience in gathering and document business requirements within in a fast-paced project environment. The successful candidate will define requirements for various, infrastructure, software and cloud projects within the current ICT Program of Work.

​

As a Business Analyst you will be required to; 

  • Lead and facilitate discussions and/or workshops with a wide variety of business and technical stakeholders, ensuring a common understanding and definition of requirements. 

  • Lead and facilitate discussions and/or workshops within the ICT team to estimate viability/effort of new ICT requests in preparation for prioritisation forums. 

  • Define, develop, and demonstrate these features for both technical and non-technical audiences through process maps, diagrams, user stories, business cases, acceptance criteria or other project and design artefacts. 

  • Maintain a line of continuous and transparent conversation with business areas, facilitating feedback and improvement in order to represent the views of the business to the broader delivery team, supporting the delivery of a quality, fit-for-purpose outcome. 

  • Work with project and business-as-usual teams to document and develop processes (including ICT Policy) and artifacts to support systems testing.

Cloud Engineer
 

Type: Permanent preferred, contractors are also highly encouraged to apply. 

Clearance: Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance 

Location: Remote (open to all states) or Canberra, ACT

Our client is seeking skilled Cloud Engineers to work as part of our multidisciplinary teams delivering high-quality digital products and solutions to our diverse range of clients. 

​​​

As a Cloud Engineer you will be required to; 

  • Demonstrate the ability to identify and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for applications and infrastructure and provide timely alerts upon any fluctuations or deviations. 

  • Successfully design, develop, and maintain automation pipelines contributing to effective continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. 

  • Proactively escalate, respond to, and resolve incidents, showing initiative, and minimising system downtime and disruption, reinforcing a culture of open and honest collaboration. 

  • Show proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure templates in accordance with client requirements, and ensuring their seamless deployment and maintenance. 

  • Uphold security best practices, ensuring full compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client IT Security Advisers' policies, enhancing the security posture of the projects. 

  • Foster an environment of agile teamwork and shared problem-solving, collaborating regularly with team members to meet project, client, and sprint goals. 

  • Embrace learning and development opportunities by acquiring new technical skills and methodologies, demonstrating the ability to contribute innovative solutions to system challenges and blockers. 

  • Adhere to set deadlines and ensure open, honest, and transparent communication with the team when faced with blockers or challenges, promoting the timely resolution of issues. 

  • Champion the dismantling of silos and fostering collaboration and communication within teams, thereby improving cross-functional teamwork and the overall work environment. 

 

Bonus Skills 

  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with AWS, Azure and Pulumi.

Senior System Engineer
 

Type: Contract position for initial 2 month period with 2 x 6 month extension options.

Location: Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne.

Essential Infrastructure and Software Engineering

  • Must have 10+ years hands-on experience with Linux OS internals and systems- including developing, monitoring and operating large-scale Linux environments.

  • Deep experience in native and hybrid cloud solutions, preferably with AWS, and/or Azure/GCP and hypervisors.

  • Deep experience in associated on-cloud features and functions, including- cyber security, firewalls, gateways; networks, design and routing etc; OEM storage systems; Kubernetes, hyperscale cloud and Docker etc.

  • Must have 5+ professional software engineering experience - including software design and coding practice eg with Java, .Net, Python, Golang; version control using Git/ GitHub or SVN etc.
